Rob McLennan kindly invited me to share my writing routine (or lack thereof) in his My Small Press Writing Day series after reading my poem "Hunting Ground," at Minola Review. My essay, The Fight to Write, was published today.
The beautiful, gothic Barren Magazine is one of my favorite literary journals. My poem, "Flood Diorama," will be published in Barren Issue No. 5.
Crack the Spine just published their first themed print anthology, Routine. I'm honored to have my PTSD poem, "Driftwood," included in such a lovely book. The anthology is now available for purchase on Amazon.
Two of my more experimental poems, "Fire-tongued Labyrinth" and "Fresco Inamorata," will be published by FIVE:2:ONE. Mp3s of my readings will also be posted on F2O's website.
I am so honored that my poem, "Night Garden," will be featured alongside Nancy Smith's beautiful paintings in the WomenSpeak ekphrastic exhibition at the FRANK Gallery in Chapel Hill, N.C. I've also been invited to read the poem during the exhibition's launch weekend March 8-10th, 2019.
